The Song Continues: Mélodie with Malcolm Martineau

As one of a handful of singers chosen to participate in Marilyn Horne and Malcolm Martineau’s professional development week at Carnegie Hall, The Song Continues, Mireille will be performing in a Masterclass given by Malcolm Martineau at Weill Recital Hall on January 21st. Come see one of the world’s foremost collaborative pianists at work and hear Mireille sing some Ravel, Debussy and Poulenc.

Canteloube’s Chants d’Auvergne

Mireille will be the featured soloist in the concert Latin Romance with Orchestra London, under the baton of Maestro James Sommerville.In this program of Latin-inspired music, she will be singing selections from Canteloube’s beautiful Chants d’Auvergne and an exciting new work by Canadian composer Omar Daniel.

Fauré’s Requiem & Ravel’s Shéhérazade

Mireille returns to upstate New York for another performance with the Orchestra of the Southern Finger Lakes and Maestro Toshi Shimada. On this program of French music, she will sing both Fauré’s sombre Requiem and Ravel’s sensuous song cycle for soprano and orchestra, Shéhérazade.

Vaughan-Williams’ Dona Nobis Pacem

Mireille will be making her Carnegie Hall debut as the soprano soloist in Vaughan-William’s masterpiece for soprano, baritone, orchestra and choir – Dona Nobis Pacem. She will be joining the Yale Symphony and Glee Club, under the batron of Maestro Jeff Douma, for their performances both at Yale University’s historic Woolsey Hall and the following weekend at Carnegie Hall.
